WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST SESSION WITH ME

Booking your first Pilates session can feel a little intimidating if you don't know what's coming. Here's exactly what to expect, so you can walk in relaxed and get the most out of our time together.

Do you need any experience or flexibility first?

Not at all. I will meet you at your level. You don't need to be flexible, strong, or have done Pilates before — that's exactly why we start with the assessment, so the workout matches where you are right now, not where you think you should be.

What to wear

Just comfortable workout clothes — nothing you need to buy specially. Grip socks are welcome if you have them, but totally optional.

Private sessions and duets

Sessions are one-on-one, or in duets if you'd like to bring a friend or partner along. There are no larger group classes — every session stays personal, whether it's just you or a duet.

How long it takes, and how you'll feel after

A first session typically runs 45–60 minutes between our conversation and the workout. Don't be surprised if you feel muscles the next day you didn't know you had — Pilates works stabilizing muscles that a lot of other workouts skip. That soreness usually eases within a day or two and is a completely normal part of getting started.
